He began his career supporting the Department of Defense before transitioning into the financial services sector, where he has played a key role in advancing both technology and client engagement.
Michael served as the founding CIO/CTO of HealthEquity, the nation’s leading HSA provider, where he spent over a decade building the company’s technology platform for consumer savings and investing. During his tenure, he helped scale the organization from an early-stage startup to an industry leader, creating systems designed to empower individuals to take greater control of their financial futures.
As Co-Founder of Wealth Foundations Partners, Michael is focused on delivering education-based financial guidance while helping shape the firm’s operational and advisory framework. His approach emphasizes building strong relationships—with clients, advisors, and business partners—while ensuring a high standard of service and clarity throughout the financial planning process.
